New formula is horrible
I've been using the old formula for years and never had any problems. The new however is another matter entirely. I immediately noticed the new formula doesnt go as far, it also left my skin feeling chalky and dry. Within a few days of use my skin had become so dry it started peeling, flaking and itching, so I stopped using it entirely. So disappointing as the old formula was perfect. I've now moved onto a different brand and my skin is getting back to normal. I wouldn't recommend this product, but if you do buy this, use with caution and always do a patch test. I've never had an adverse reaction to skin care products until this one.

Always wanted to try this brand and have to say I really like it. Great that it is 50 spf as the higher the better for your face I think. Super thick feeling product but that would contribute to staying on your skin for the 120 mins but also does feel a tad bit oily but it seems to fine for my skin. My face does feel moisturised after use and don’t feel like I have to use too much.
Appreciate that there is no fragrance as I have sensitive skin sometimes and scent can break me out.
Also feels like I’m making a good choice using it being dermatologist recommended.
Definitely would buy again and makes me want to try some of their other products.

Excellent sun protection
I’ve been using Cetaphil SPF 50 Cream for a few weeks now, and I am genuinely impressed. It provides excellent sun protection, keeping my skin safe from harmful UV rays without causing any irritation. The formula is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving no greasy residue, which I love. My skin feels hydrated and smooth all day, and I haven't experienced any breakouts or discomfort. As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciate how gentle it is. I highly recommend this sunscreen for anyone looking for reliable sun protection that works well for all skin types! The packaging is nice and it’s got a subtle smell to it! Overall I’m really happy with it!

Lovely formula and a good spf, unfortunately leave
Having used cetaphil products before I was excited to try this. It does hold up to their high standard of product, it has great ingredients and being spf50 appeals to me so much. Having acne prone skin and religiously using spf I could definitely appreciate the formula, how quickly it absorbed and lasted on my skin. However, I had to mark this product down based on the fact it does leave a white cast. I have a fair complexion and under certain lights or if I took a picture with flash the white cast was evident. Under makeup it wasn’t an issue, but since I don’t wear makeup everyday, I will only gravitate to using this product on days I will wear makeup.

Great idea, poor execution
I was excited to try this, because I don’t currently use an SPF on a daily basis, but it wasn’t quite as good as I was expecting, sadly.
It’s a really handy size, has no scent (good!), and has high protection, so it sounds great. It’s also made by a respected skincare company, so you know you’re in good hands. But I wasn’t impressed with the texture of it, mainly. It’s very slick, and feels cloying on the skin. It doesn’t leave a white cast like many other SPFs do, which is another positive, but it left me feeling like I REALLY needed moisturiser. I didn’t use loads either. Maybe it’s something I need to get used to, but on the whole I was disappointed.

Used to be incredible, new formulation very poor
I used to love this cream and have used it every day for years. This new formulation is terrible and has left my skin feeling dry, tight, and itchy. So disappointed that they changed the 'recipe'. I'll be returning the bottles I bought and have to begin my hunt for the perfect sun cream again. Please bring back the original formulation, it was perfect.
