Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great idea, poor execution I was excited to try this, because I don’t currently use an SPF on a daily basis, but it wasn’t quite as good as I was expecting, sadly. It’s a really handy size, has no scent (good!), and has high protection, so it sounds great. It’s also made by a respected skincare company, so you know you’re in good hands. But I wasn’t impressed with the texture of it, mainly. It’s very slick, and feels cloying on the skin. It doesn’t leave a white cast like many other SPFs do, which is another positive, but it left me feeling like I REALLY needed moisturiser. I didn’t use loads either. Maybe it’s something I need to get used to, but on the whole I was disappointed.

There is no added fragrance to this cream, it is recommended for sensitive skin use by Dermatologists. It is water resistant for 2 hours and has a high UVA sun protection. The instructions are very clear and simple to read on the packaging

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sunscreen Thanks to Influenster and Cetaphil, I was gifted the Cetaphil Daily Defence Cream SPF 50 to test and provide my honest opinion. While it did leave a slight white cast on my face, I found it wasn’t heavy or greasy, which is a huge plus. I’ll probably continue to use it on parts of my body like my neck and arms where the white cast is less noticeable. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do in terms of protection, and I’m happy with the results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pale faced ghost! I was so excited to try this, sounded right up my street! Great company that I already trust have made this daily defence cream that I can wear everyday! When it came, I applied it to freshly washed and cleansed skin instead of a moisturiser. It felt ok going on, a bit thicker than my usual moisturiser but who cares? Well, I did when I looked in the mirror. My face had a white hue that made me look like a ghost or like Nick Cage in his movie Long legs! No no no, I can’t go out like this!! People will think I’m ill! 😆 I kind of left my skin feeling a bit chalky too so no, I wouldn’t recommend this product. Unsure if it was the zinc that left it doing this but 99% of all face sun creams don’t leave you looking pale anymore.
