Cleanse skin with a gentle yet effective cleanser morning and night

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not keen on the scent or texture, not suitable for make-up wearers Personally I don't like how this product smells, and I found it left a greasy texture on top of my skin upon application. It's a mineral foundation so it provides sun protection by blocking harmful UV physically. This product needs to be reapplied every 2-3 hours meaning it's no use wearing it with makeup. It's water resistant but that also means it doesn't absorb well. And whilst it has a 50spf rating it doesn't indicate how much product to use to get that level of protection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pale faced ghost! I was so excited to try this, sounded right up my street! Great company that I already trust have made this daily defence cream that I can wear everyday! When it came, I applied it to freshly washed and cleansed skin instead of a moisturiser. It felt ok going on, a bit thicker than my usual moisturiser but who cares? Well, I did when I looked in the mirror. My face had a white hue that made me look like a ghost or like Nick Cage in his movie Long legs! No no no, I can’t go out like this!! People will think I’m ill! 😆 I kind of left my skin feeling a bit chalky too so no, I wouldn’t recommend this product. Unsure if it was the zinc that left it doing this but 99% of all face sun creams don’t leave you looking pale anymore.

Powered by Micronized Zinc Oxide Technology for physical defence with 120 minutes of water resistance. This is non sticky without any white cast. I absolutely love this spf as it absorbs so quickly. Defends against harmful UV rays/sunburn & helps prevent skin ageing due to sun exposure. Directions: Apply daily to cleansed skin on the face and neck. Reapply every 2-3 hours to maintain protection, especially after perspiring, swimming or towelling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Good sun screen even though the texture wasn’t the best. It seemed to crack a bit and give texture to my skin. The scent is not strong and it does a good job avoiding sun burning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SPF50 Protection without the white marks When it comes to protecting sensitive facial skin against the suns UVA/UVB rays, the Cetaphil Daily Defence Cream is one of my favourites. It contains SPF50, so it offers maximum protection and comes in a 50g size so you can pop it in your bag and reapply when required, e.g., after swimming, etc. It has a lightweight finish and is water resistant to 2 hours. It doesn't leave white marks due to the micronised zinc oxide technology. Best of all, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or clog my pores.

The texture is non-greasy feel and suitability for everyday use, including under makeup. However, there was a white cast and It's also not water-resistant, which requires reapplication after swimming or sweating. Overall, it's a solid option for those seeking a daily moisturizer with sun protection, especially for normal to dry or sensitive skin types.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight but affective This daily defence cream is scent free and easy to apply. I did so after cleansing before applying some light concealer. This did not irritated my skin and was in a light cream format. It didn't cause any issues with makeup I.e. it absorbed into my skin quickly and smoothly. It does not provide extensive moisture but for the sake of 50+ factor protection, I'd definitely recommend using this if looking for a not sticky or tacky SPF that provides a high level of protection.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT SUITABLE FOR US BROWN SKIN GIRLIES 🤦🏽‍♀️ I used the reccomended amount - 2 fingers length & I very quickly realised this formula was way too thick for my combination skin! The formula left a horrible white cast all over my skin & it just would not absorb into my skin! - I will NOT be showing this in a photo as it is not a pleasant sight! LOL I Don’t reccomend this product to anyone of colour. I mean it would work great for people of paler complexions.
